We are really glad you are here, and it is important to us that you build some genuine friendships and find a deep sense of belonging. So with that in mind, there are several ways for you and yours to get connected!

Here is a list of some key ministries in our church:

Life Groups (coming soon) — This is the perfect way to easily meet new people and build meaningful friendships. Stay tuned for more information!

Children’s Ministry — Our kids’ ministry is fun, active, and dynamic! If you have little ones up to 12 years old, they will have a blast in our children’s ministry as they learn about Jesus and make new friends! If you have an infant, please take advantage of our safe and clean nursery, staffed on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. To volunteer in our kids’ ministry, simply let us know!

Deeper Student Ministries — Jake and Amber Polca lead our youth group of students from ages 12  to 18 years old — and it is awesome! This is the best way for your student to encounter the real-life love of Jesus while experiencing a deep sense of belonging. We take epic trips all throughout the year, participate in national arts competitions, and grow together in an environment that is accepting, fun, and authentic. Click here for more information!

Praise Team — Worship is one of our core values, and we place emphasis on responding to the Lord during our time of singing and music. Led by Kim Opdenhoff, our praise team is a committed band of worshipers who are gifted in leading our church into the Presence of Jesus. If you are interested in being part of this team, please let us know!

Prayer Partners — Our team of Prayer Partners takes turns praying for the service, during the service. We have found this to be instrumental in changing the climate of our church and helps pave the way for the Holy Spirit to do His work.

L.O.L. (Ladies of Life) — Ladies, get connected to a group of women who love to laugh, love to chat, and love each other! You don’t want to miss our next get-together! We’ll save you a seat! Click here to let us know that you’re interested in being  a part!

Compassion House — A thrift store owned and operated by our church, Compassion House exists to meet the practical needs of our community. If you would like to make a donation or pick something up, please visit us at 2010 Somerset Ave, Windber, PA 15963, or give us a call at (814) 467-0567.

Fellowship Committee — This team organizes our summer church picnics — something we all benefit from! If you would like to participate in this group, please reach out to us!

Nursing Home Ministry — An important ministry devoted to serving those residing in nursing homes. We gather to sing songs, minister, and fellowship with the elderly. You’re invited to join us! Send us an email here to learn more about our schedule.

EMT (Emergency Meal Team) — Spearheaded by Karen Matisko, this important ministry is available to help out with meals anytime someone has been hospitalized.  If you or someone you know has a need in this area, please let our church office know.

C.A.R.S. Ministry — Twice a year, the men of our church do a quick car check-up and change the oil for retired widows and single moms. We will keep you posted the next time this opportunity is available.
